Designed for those who want to experience the wonders of Gunung Leuser National Park without intensive walking or climbing, this trek offers a chance to bring yourself in to the beautiful nature of Sumatra.
During the trek, you’ll see many different plants, towering trees, fascinating insects, spot the orangutan and other local wildlife. Our expert guide will be with you every step of the way, sharing insights and pointing out the hidden wonders of the jungle.
This trek can be enjoyed either in the morning or the afternoon (with the latest start at 2 PM). However, for the best chance of spotting the amazing orangutans, we recommend starting early, around 9 AM.
